Seven estate agents will "grow a mo" this month as part of an international fund-raising event.

Directors James Court, Will Ravenhill, Nigel Carlisle and Peter Woodthorpe, valuation manager Sean Rushton, auction manager Carl Finch and sales negotiator Joe Yates, from Readings Property Group, in Leicester, – are growing a moustache for Movember.

The soon-to-be-furry-lipped estate agents are appealing to customers to sponsor them, with the money raised being split between the Prostate Cancer Charity, Institute for Cancer Research and Movember Foundation.

They will join thousands of other men across the globe cultivating 'taches in return for sponsorship this month.

James Court said: "I'm concerned mine's going to be grey, to be honest.

"I've been reading about Movember and it is such a good cause. I've never had a moustache before.

A couple of our directors are planning handlebar moustaches.

"Nigel brought his wedding album in from 1982 and there's a definite Magnum look going on there!"

For every person who books a free valuation with Readings, the team will donate £5.

If you put your home on the market with the firm, they will add another £20 to the pot.

They have not set a definite target.

Sponsor forms are available in the office, in Granby Street, Leicester, and on the Movember website.
