Leicester City's home Championship fixture against Blackburn Rovers has been provisionally scheduled for Tuesday, February 26.

The original date was Saturday, February 16, but Blackburn are involved in an FA Cup fifth round tie now that weekend at Arsenal.

Leicester City's home Championship fixture against Blackburn Rovers is set to take place on Tuesday, February 26

Of course, City could also be in action against Wigan in the fifth round that weekend as well, but first have to overcome Huddersfield in a replay.

The reason the date is provisionally  is because the February 26-27 midweek dates have been set aside for FA Cup fifth round replays.

“ibstockFox....you read my mind, though it is fairly obvious. Gives NP even more reason to give game time to the squad/fringe players. We are going to need them, maybe to include Danns and Beckford.”

“This is worrying. The fixtures are starting to back up. If we get a few injuries this could seriously damage our automatic promotion hopes”

“mmm, season tickets seem to have lost their credibility.

Not so much guaranteed a seat at every (league) home match.

more like being stuck with lots you cannot make...

    Suggestion to sue Whelan............

A season ticket holder who renews their ticket during the first phase of sale, will be entitled to full access to foxes player and a ticket exchange for ANY home league game that is moved for TV, a clash with Leicester Tigers or does not (either by choice or otherwise) attend when adverse weather such as the Middlesborough game...
Also, a season ticket holder will be entitled to 15% discount in the club shop including sale items and any other discounts offered to joe public, half season ticket holders (even though 10 or 9 is NOT half a season!) members or anyone who puts up with the flat drinks and poor service at the kiosks..

This is the only way to actually reward us who pay our monies in full up front every first phase of renewals...

Not much to ask for for loyalty...”

“That's another Saturday league game consigned to midweek. It's great if we can have a cup run but season ticket holders will have to fork out again for a cup tie. And if, like many season ticket holders you can only make Saturday afternoons, you're being hit twice! (assuming we get past Huddersfield)

To put this in perspective, the first home league game on a Saturday afternoon this year is on 9th March. You'll then have to wait until the 13th of April for the next "traditional" Saturday afternoon kick off!”
