The date for this year's Melton Show has just been announced by the organisers.

The popular annual event, which attracts thousands of visitors to the town's parks, will be held on Monday, May 31.

Organiser Gill West said: "It's a major regional show with a programme of spectacular live entertainment within the centre of our market town.

"Geared to the best in family entertainment, this well-established event attracts thousands of visitors from throughout the East Midlands and beyond."
