'Despicable' burglars run riot in victim's flat
A burglary victim returned home to find intruders had vandalised every room in his flat.
The wreckers did not steal anything, but sprayed plant food, cooking oil and shower gel on the walls and furniture of the flat in Narborough Road, Leicester.
The intruders struck while the victim was out with his family between 5.30pm and 9.10pm on Sunday, September 16.
Police released details and appealed for witnesses yesterday.

Pc Natalie Allingham said: "This was a despicable crime.
"If you saw anyone acting suspiciously in Narborough Road, close to Mountcastle Road, or know anything about this incident we urge you to contact us."
