Dine in Dunton raises £920 for hospice
Dunton Bassett: Another very successful Dine in Dunton meal was held in the village on Saturday, March 28.
The chosen charity for this event was the Rainbows children's hospice, and £920 was raised on the evening for this charity.
Keith Ball from the hospice spoke to the diners about this wonderful hospice, which takes life limited children for respite care and also cares for their siblings who often miss out on treats and outings when most of the care goes to the sick child.
The hospice is building more rooms so that even more families can use the facilities. It is hoped to hold more Dine in Dunton events in the future.
