Don't write off Leicester City's play-off bid – Wes Morgan
Defender Wes Morgan said Leicester City had to keep believing they can reach the play-offs, despite their last-minute defeat at Brighton on Saturday.
Will Buckley's last-gasp winner for the hosts, when Leicester were down to nine men, has resulted in the gap from 13th place City to the play-off places increasing to eight points with 17 games left.
Morgan admitted the manner of the defeat was a bodyblow but he said it would be premature to write off City just yet. "There are still plenty of games to play and points up for grabs," said Morgan.
"We just have to keep believing because you never know. Two or three wins on the trot would put us right up there.
"I don't think we played the best but we showed desire and heart. I think we deserved to get a minimum of a point out of this. That is why the lads in the dressing room are all disappointed. We have to put it to bed now."
City had Jermaine Beckford sent off at the start of the second half and Neil Danns followed him down the tunnel in added-time, but Morgan said City could take heart from their performance in adversity.
"It was a game that never really got going and both sides had their moments but it was in spits and spats really," he said.
"We got in at half-time at 0-0 but, once the sending-off happened, that fired us up a bit. Obviously, with 10 men, we couldn't do much attacking. We had to sit behind the ball and counter-attack. I thought we did that quite well and they didn't open us up.
"Then the game got evened up with their lad getting sent off so it was disappointing to concede the goal at the end, but these things happen and we have to pick ourselves up."
Morgan added: "There was a bit of confusion and a few people out of position as we were trying to reorganise and they took advantage of that.
"We had a couple of half chances ourselves later on in added-time and we just didn't take advantage of that.
"We are disappointed but and we have to pick ourselves up. We have a week to reflect, put it behind us and focus on the next game."

“Ha ha, nice one Wesy Baby, methinks all your time with Forest has addled your brain. We need to be looking over our shoulders - Millwall, Watford, Ipswich, Peterborough picking up points - a couple of wins from them and we will be in the bottom six - and we have Cardiff on Saturday - may the Lord Help Us.”

“I did have hope of us making the play offs but its gone now. Why can other teams win games with team men or hold on for a drew, we always seem to just manage to lose it late on.
With injuries, suspensions & not being able to win two games on the spin (league), were going to miss out.
PLEASE PROVE ME WRONG!!!”
