Ambulance
Muldoon (21) had been found by paramedics lying unconscious on the ground outside flats at Elizabeth Court, Wigston, just before midnight on January 31.
Sukhjit Singh, prosecuting, said Muldoon, of Crete Avenue, Wigston, became abusive and started shouting obscenities when police arrived.
Inside the ambulance he got up and pushed the two officers over. One hit his head and the other cut a finger.
Daniel Howe, defending, said Muldoon admitted he had been drinking, but was in an agitated mood as he believed his drink had been spiked.
Muldoon, who had two previous cautions on record, was ordered by district judge David Meredith at Leicester Magistrates' Court to pay £75 compensation to each officer.
He will be electronically tagged for three months, and be unable to leave his house between 8pm and 7am.
