Early goals put Knitters on the back foot
Hinckley United were beaten 3-0 by high-flying Guisley at the Greene King Stadium on Saturday, in Blue Square Bet North.
Wayne Brooksby gave the visitors the lead in the first minute and Nicky Boshell doubled their advantage on 16 minutes.
At that point, it looked as if the league's bottom side would be on the end of another hammering, but Carl Heggs' young side responded well, conceding only one further goal, scored by Josh Wilson in the 61st minutes.
Barwell were held to a 1-1 draw by Bideford in the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division.
