East Midlands Trains extends opening of first-class lounges
Business people can enjoy longer opening hours at first-class lounges on the Midlands Mainline.
East Midlands Trains said it was extending the service after opening its new first class lounge at St Pancras.
Passengers holding a first-class ticket will now be able to use the lounges at Leicester, Derby, Nottingham and Sheffield until 6.30pm, Monday to Friday. All of the lounges offer WiFi, as well as complimentary drinks, snacks and newspapers and magazines.
Customer service and commercial director Neil Micklethwaite said: "While our lounges tend to be busier in the morning, we know from feedback that longer opening hours would be welcomed by our customers.
