Friends of the Earth are organising a public meeting about energy for this month's Green Light Festival.

The festival will take place on Saturday, March 16, from 11am until 6pm on the De Montfort University campus in Mill Lane, Leicester.

At 12.45pm the meeting, entitled Energy we can all afford?, will be held by Leicester Friends of the Earth to consider the Government's new Energy Bill.

Speakers will include Leicester South MP Jon Ashworth, Tina Holt, of the Energy Saving Co-operative, and Carl Benfield, of energy consultants Prescient Power.
