Barwell face an FA Vase fifth-round replay against Willand Rovers on Saturday after drawing 2-2 in Devon.

On a quagmire of a pitch, the Canaries were in front twice.

Then they had to hold on with 10 men following the sending-off of striker Adam Cunnington who received his second yellow cards five minutes from the end of normal time.

Barwell went ahead in the 20th minute.

Liam McDonald passe to Cunnington who was pulled back in the penalty area by Sam Crofts. Kevin Charley drove home the resulting penalty.

Willand levelled three minutes before the break when Cliff Brown threaded a pass to Jason Ansell who made no mistake.

Charley had a back-header turned over the bar in the 75 minute by home goalkeeper Brian Cann. From the resulting corner, Barwell regained the lead. Adam Wykes crossed and Jamie Towers powered the ball into the net.

Barwell's lead lasted three minutes. Substitute Dean Stamp played the ball across the penalty area and David Steele levelled with a fierce shot.

Barwell had a let-off near the end when Danny Jee hit the bar and, from the rebound. Cliff Brown put the ball over.

Barwell's lead in the Midland Alliance was cut to 15 points when second-placed Coalville Town won 1-0 at Westfields.

A goal on debut from Matt Gardner proved enough for the Ravens, who have a game in hand.

Westfields started in a positive mood but Coalville carried the greater threat and they could have been ahead after nine minutes.

Jermaine Gordon was brought down by Terry Green to give Coalville a penalty but the usually reliable Cameron Stuart rolled his spot-kick wide.

It proved little more than a brief reprieve for Westfields, though, with Gardner heading in from close range after Stuart's 14th-minute corner led to a goalmouth scramble.

The match continued in the same vein with Westfields pressing forward and Coalville looking to add further goals on the counter-attack.

Westfields' Jamie Addis shot too close to Richard Williams who saved well, and Gardner turned smartly but shot just wide.

The second half began with Darryl Addis driving in an angled shot which Williams kicked to safety but, from then on, Coalville looked comfortable with the central defensive pairing of Leigh Everitt and Danny Haynes putting on a faultless display.

In the closing stages, Gardner, Lewis Dodd and Michael Swan went close to adding to Coalville's advantage.

Oadby Town powered to a 3-1 home win over Rocester, all the goals being scored in the second half.

Jon Stevenson, Nick Pollard and Danny Spencer gave the Poachers a 3-0 lead before the visitors grabbed a late consolation goal.

Loughborough University lost 1-0 at Stamford Town.
