Diseworth: Long Whatton and Diseworth Parish Council is to write to the Chief Constable of Leicestershire following reports of cycle races being organised in their area and passing through the villages.

They are particularly concerned about the safety of residents, particularly the young and old, following any major change in traffic patterns.
