Figure caught on CCTV could be missing man
Police have made a fresh appeal for information following a possible sighting of a man who has been missing for six weeks.
Stuart Taylor, 46, was last seen at 1.30pm on December 13, in Market Harborough. He was reported missing a short while later.
Police said CCTV images of a man in Grantham, Lincolnshire – where Mr Taylor had been living – could be him.
Mr Taylor's partner, Lorraine Templeton, 48, has seen the video and is unsure whether it shows him.
She and police appealed for the man in the image, or anyone who knows who he is, to come forward.
She said: "It's difficult. I so want this to be Stuart but I can't be positive because you can't see his face.
"If it isn't Stuart on the CCTV then we need that man to come forward and tell the police who he is.
"Stuart has had a mental breakdown and, unfortunately, he is not thinking logically at the moment.
"It is very cold now and I am still asking people to check outbuildings because he wouldn't be able to stay outside in this weather.
"Also, if Stuart had any money with him it will all have gone by now and we know he hasn't accessed his bank account."
The CCTV image, issued by police on Friday, was filmed in Harlaxton Road, Grantham, on Thursday, January 19.
