Films made in Leicestershire up for top awards
Films made in Leicestershire have been nominated for key industry awards.
Among films nominated for this year's British Independent Film Awards (BIFAs) are Nicolas Winding Refn's biopic Bronson, filmed partly in Leicestershire, and Emily Blunt, who receives a best actress nomination for her role as The Young Victoria, filmed at Belvoir Castle near Melton.
All the films were co-financed by EM Media and filmed entirely in the East Midlands.
BIFA 2009 will take place at The Brewery in London on December 6.
