Flooring firm supplies Wimbledon
A specialist flooring company is helping thousands of spectators at this year's Wimbledon tennis championship walk safely to their seats.
Schlüter-Systems, of Bardon, has supplied hundreds of metres of matting and other products to the number one court.
Schlüter's orange matting, specialist flooring joints and slip-resistant stair edges have all been installed at the court's hospitality areas and terraces.
Carl Stokes, divisional manager at Schlüter, said: "While tennis fans will have come to see the action on the famous green turf within number one court, what they won't see are our top ranked products providing a meticulous service beneath the hospitality areas whilst they tuck into their strawberries and cream."

Mr Stokes said he hoped the company would attract further business from the contract.
"We know we will be able to get repeat business from this," he said.
"With around 450,000 visitors expected at Wimbledon over the championship fortnight alone, it's a great test of their ability to shine and one we know they will pass with flying colours."
The firm has installed its DILEX, DITRA and TREP products at the tennis club.
The company's products are used at sporting arenas, international airports, shopping centres and colleges. Clients include Highcross and McDonald's restaurants.
Last year, Schlüter invested £100,000 creating the UK tiling industry's first online training academy. The system works alongside the company's existing detailed training programmes, which keep installers, distributors, architects, retailers, stockists, tiling lecturers at college and trainers at independent training centres up to date with the latest trends and technology.
Schlüter is a family-owned, international group of companies founded in Germany, in 1966, by Werner Schlüter. The UK operation is at Bardon Hill, near Coalville.
Schlüter products are working at many thousands of installations throughout the world. It has more than 7,000 products in its range.
