New Parks: The Methodist Church in Battersbee Road is to hold a flower festival over the weekend of June 13-14 on the theme Poetry in Bloom.

There will also be craft stalls and refreshments. Admission is by donation.

The festival will be open on the Saturday from 10am to 6pm with a songs of praise service from 6pm).

On the Sunday at 10.30am there will be family worship and from 2pm the flower festival will be open.
