Wigston: Dr Ray Sutton will continue his series of lectures on Leicestershire local history held at All Saints' Church rooms, Bushloe End. The next talk will be held on Monday, October 19, entitled A History of Fox Hunting at Quorn and Melton.

This will be followed on Monday, October 26, with The Luddite Riots, 1811 -1816.

The meetings are from 2pm to 3.30pm. Admission costs £2.50.
