Fourteen arrested in £2m VAT fraud investigation
Fourteen men were arrested during early morning raids by revenue and customs officers at 15 addresses.
The men were detained in Leicester yesterday as part of an investigation into an estimated £2 million VAT repayment fraud.
Revenue and Customs criminal investigators also arrested two men in Milton Keynes and one in Newcastle, as part of the investigation. An undisclosed quantity of cash was seized.
The men arrested in Leicester were aged between 24 and 59.

They were being interviewed last night and are due to be bailed while inquiries continue.
