This is Leicestershire

After having a family of foxes living in my garden for the past few months, perhaps the urban fox fan club would like to come round one morning and assist me in clearing up the litter and rubbish brought in overnight, disposing of the excrement from the lawn and paths, disinfecting the areas, and lastly filling the holes in the lawn where they have been worming.

If you do decide to come over please don't arrive too early.

I normally have a lie-in after being woken at 4am by their continual yapping.

Could you also be kind enough to bring some plants with you to replace those broken and damaged by the cubs.

Following my previous letter concerning this problem, I received a phone call from a very kind gentleman who offered to lend me a trap.

If I decide to accept this offer perhaps Elizabeth Allison and Co would like to adopt the captives in their gardens?

Come on, you Nimbys, let's have some practical solutions to the problem – apart from hunting with dogs.

Ken Palfreyman, Wigston.
