Free art workshops and Easter days out
Braunstone: Free art workshops and days out to Beacon Hill Country Park and are being held this Easter holiday as part of the Braunstone's Beacon project.
Teenagers and children will learn how to make things from the natural environment around them, discover how to produce images using natural sunlight, how to use colour to create extraordinary leaves and enjoy a home-made picnic.
There will be a series of free art workshops to take part in, ranging from batik Easter eggs to sculpture and painting.
Braunstone's Beacon project is working in partnership with St. Peter's Church, Woodshawe Rise, and is a part of the Find Your Talent programme.
Sessions will run on April 14 and 16 from 11am to 4pm. This event is free but it is necessary to book as places are limited. All materials and lunches are provided.
