Evington: The cinema in Leicester will be the subject of the next talk to Evington Hill Ladies' Club.

Members will hear speaker Brian Johnson on Wednesday (June 17).

Evington: A fun day will be run by Evington Leisure Centre and City of Leicester College on Saturday, June 20.

Activities will include basket ball, boxercise, cricket and tag rugby and there will be a climbing wall and bouncy castle. A splash disco will take place in the pool.

Refreshments will be available at the event which runs from 10am until 4pm.

Evington: Blue Badge Guides Virginia Wright and Diana Courtney will lead a guided walk around Evington on Wednesday. The walk starts at 7.30pm and sets off from Evington Library, ending at Evington Chapel.

Advance tickets are available at Leicester Tourist Information Centre in Town Hall Square. Pre-booking guarantees a place, but people can turn up and pay on the evening. Tickets are £3.50 or £3 for concessions.
