Gang of youths try to steal gold necklace
Youths attempted to grab a woman's gold necklace as she walked through a park with her husband.
The couple were attacked from behind by three youths in Evington Park, Leicester.
After a brief struggle, the youths ran away with one of the woman's gold earrings. Neither victims were injured.
The robbery happened at 12.45pm on Thursday, September 27. Police released details yesterday and urged witnesses to contact them.

Detective Constable Kaushik Pattani said: "This was a shocking incident for the victim and her husband. Luckily no one was seriously injured.
"The incident took place in broad daylight and there may have been other people in or around Evington Park. If you witnessed the incident or saw three youths acting suspiciously in the area we would urge you to contact police.
"If you have any suspicions about who may be responsible or you've heard rumours locally please come forward. Any calls received will be treated in confidence."
Street robbery, including jewellery, in the area covered by Spinney Hill Park police station has fallen by more than a third in the past year.
However, officers are urging people to take precautions such as covering jewellery with a scarf, hood or collar or to carry it in a bag until they reach their destination.
