Gardens open the route to crafts and food festival
Quorn: The long-established open gardens with the Quorn Food and Craft Festival will be held in aid of the Rainbows children's hospice and STOPS (Saving the Old Primary School) on Saturday and Sunday May 30-31.
The open gardens event is a firm fixture of the village calendar, giving visitors from the village and beyond the chance to admire the village, and visit a wide range of interesting gardens of all sizes, and to pay a visit to Quorn Food and Craft Festival.
The gardens will be open from 2pm to 6pm on both days.
The gardens open reflect the varied nature of Quorn, with small cottage gardens through to rolling acres open to the public.
The Quorn Food and Craft Festival is for local food suppliers and crafters, and introduces visitors to quality products available in the area.
Refreshments will be available at the festival.
It will be open from 11am to 5.30pm in the village hall.
An added attraction will be the Meccano exhibition in the church rooms for the young and young at heart, alongside another vibrant exhibition from ArtSpace.
