Geordan Murphy calls time on international career
Leicester Tigers skipper Geordan Murphy has retired from international rugby.
The 34-year-old was this week omitted from Declan Kidney's Ireland squad for the summer tour of New Zealand.
Murphy says that means he will have worn the green jersey for the final time.
"I am not in and you know when it's time to hang up your boots at any level," he said.

"I have had some tremendous memories with the squad but it is time for some young lads to come in and prepare for the next World Cup.
"I haven't spoken to him (Declan) about it, but I am going to give him a shout. That's it."
Newcastle have re-signed centre Tane Tu'ipulotu on a two-year deal from Japanese club Yamaha Jubilo.
Tu'ipulotu, the former Junior All Black, is the Falcons' fourth signing this week following the arrivals of Rory Lawson, Carlo del Fava and Scott MacLeod.
Newcastle's immediate future remains uncertain as they wait for the outcome of the Championship final to discover whether they will be relegated.
