Simran Singh scored eight times as Leicester City Ladies continued their relentless surge in the Under-15 Division.

The leaders recorded their 14th consecutive win in some style, 19-1 against a depleted Hinckley United side, who started with just nine players.

It was a fitting end to Leicester's first game at their new home venue of Babington Community College. Yet they did not have the best of starts, Abbie O'Flynn putting Hinckley ahead on seven minutes.

Singh equalised on 10 minutes and went on to complete her hat-trick. When Annie Taylor netted in the 26th minute, to put Leicester 4-1 up, the goals really started to flow.

It was 9-1 at the interval, Singh adding two more and Connie Ingall and Demi Knott (2) making their mark.

The second half was only two minutes old when Singh made it double figures for Leicester. Ingall scored the 11th before Singh claimed her seventh.

Good play from Charlie Tature and Lauren Steadman allowed Ingall to cross for Paige Wells to score.

Knott took her tally to five, Ingall completed her hat-trick, Singh netted her eighth with a fine header and Tature completed the scoring, nodding home from a corner.

Despite the heavy defeat, the Hinckley players, parents and manager showed great sportsmanship throughout.

Leicester will be aiming to land their first piece of silverware tomorrow when they meet Coalville Town Ravenettes in the County Cup final at Holmes Park (2.0).

Marlborough Rovers Under-14s were beaten 3-0 by Oadby Wigston Starlets in a game in which they had plenty of possession.

Rovers began well with Amy Shaw, playing in the unfamiliar left-back role, setting the tone.

Millie Seaton and Jennie Leedham controlled the centre of the park and it was a superb pass from Seaton that almost broke the deadlock. Racing through was Millie Ramsell, whose well-placed shot was saved.

At the other end, goalkeeper Amie Burton was in fine form, making some fine saves, while Beth McCleavy and Gemma Capewell excelled down the left.

Starlets looked dangerous on the break and only a timely intervention by Lauren Kaye kept the score level.

Rovers started the second half well and were dominant early on with Seaton and Leedham having attempts on goal.

Rovers manager Gail Seaton made a tactical reshuffle, sending on Maddie Rogers in goal.

But Leedham put the ball through her own net before a cross went into the net to make it 2-0 to Starlets.

At the other end, Ramsell fizzed a shot narrowly wide. She then had a penalty saved after Seaton had been brought down.

This was not going to be Rovers' day and Starlets sealed their win with a third goal.

Braunstone Trinity booked their place in the County Girls Under-11 Cup final with a 2-1 success against Leicester City Ladies at Cosby United's Victory Park.

Their opponents will be Loughborough Foxes, who edged out Birstall United by the same scoreline.

“What's Sven doing at Hinckley United?

Is that the biggest defeat ever by a Hinckley Utd team?”
