Gold chain snatched from man during street robbery in Leicester
A 19-year-old man had a gold chain snatched from around his neck by two youths.
The robbery took place in Windsor Avenue, near Melton Road, Leicester, on Friday, February 22, at about 6.50pm.

They also took a Samsung Galaxy S2 mobile phone and cash.

The suspects have been described as Asian, aged between 15 and 18 and about 5ft 7ins tall. They were wearing dark hooded tops and jogging bottoms.
Detective Constable Jemma Harrison, who is investigating the incident, said: “The victim was on his way to meet a friend when he was approached by the suspects and robbed. Luckily he wasn’t hurt during the incident.
“This was a frightening incident for the victim and we need to catch those responsible. The gold chain was slim and had an Om religious symbol pendant on it.
“If anyone has been approached by someone selling a similar piece of jewellery we would urge them to contact us.”
