Golf: Captain upbeat as County seconds look to land title
Leicestershire seconds will be crowned Anglian League champions if they win their final match of the season on Sunday.
County take a strong team to Royston to play Cambridgeshire knowing the coveted title is within their grasp.

Captain Stuart Marriott said: "We are fielding a strong side at Royston and will be going all out to achieve our victory target.
"So far we have seven points from our four games, with three wins and a draw. We are one point clear of Northamptonshire, who are lying second.
"If we manage only a draw, Northamptonshire would need to beat Lincolnshire 9½-2½ or better to take the title, but we don't want it to come down to that at all.
"Everyone is determined to give it their best shot."
The County first team take on Cambridgeshire at The Leicestershire.
Led by captain Phil Thomason, County have three points from their four matches and are third in the table, with Lincolnshire having already clinched this title again. Teams:

Leicestershire & Rutland boys won the three-cornered Keith Tripp Trophy at New Malton, Cambridgeshire.
Captain Jevann Parmar (The Leicestershire) was in fine form. He won the individual scratch trophy on the day with his one-under-par 70 card.
The best seven gross scores counted and the County's 557 aggregate saw them well clear of Northamptonshire (592) and Cambridgeshire (631).

Parmar has enjoyed a good spell recently. He finished tied third in the Irish Under-15 Championship over 36-holes at Naas, where he hit 75-76-151, two strokes behind the winner.
He dropped three shots on the tough 17th hole, surrounded by water.
He also won the Under-14s title in the County boys' championship at Western Park.
Leicestershire boys lost an inter-county under-14s match against Nottinghamshire at Oakmere Park.
They trailed 3½-2½ after the opening foursomes and lost the singles 6½-4½ to go down 10-7.
Matt Jones (Cosby) scored full points, with captain Jevann Parmar (The Leicestershire) and his clubmate Raj Bathia unbeaten all day.
