Good Pub Guide 2013 - Rutland village pub reclaims title - but which is your favourite?
A village pub has reclaimed its crown as the number one hostelry for haute cuisine.
The Good Pub Guide has marked the publication of the 2013 edition today by announcing the winners of its Dining Pub of the Year for each county.
For Leicestershire and Rutland, the winner is the Olive Branch in Clipsham, Rutland, which also took the title two years ago.
"It's great to reclaim the title," said the pub's director and executive chef, Sean Hope.

"It's all down to hard work and a lot of focus – you're only as good as your last meal.
"It's about getting the best out of the fresh, local produce. Mother nature sets the seasons and we try to blend the flavours and textures to make the best possible dishes.
"And the service has to be just as good as the food."
Last year, the title went to another Rutland pub, the Marquess of Exeter, in Lyddington.
Sean, who took over the Olive Branch with co-owner Ben Jones in 1999, has always aimed for the pub to be the best.
He said: "It's great to have the national and local recognition. We really pushed to be the best again this year with our spring and summer menu.
"It's all about raising the bar."
The pub is a hotel and the Good Pub Guide 2013 also sings the praises of the bedrooms at the Olive Branch.
Its description states: "A special place for an exceptional meal in comfortable surroundings, this very thoughtfully-run place has a relaxed country cottage atmosphere.
"A carefully-chosen range of drinks includes Grainstore Olive Ale, an enticing wine list and quite a few different British and continental bottled beers. This is a great place to make a weekend of it as their bedrooms are lovely."
Fiona Stapley, joint editor of The Good Pub Guide, said this year's winners had been judged on value as well as quality. She said: "This year particularly, pub chefs have to offer not just imaginative dishes, but those their customers feel are fair value, too.
"Although things are looking much brighter for pubs, it's extremely hard work. Award-winning pubs such as the Olive Branch have to be at the very top of their game to be chosen."
