Great Bauble Robbery as Ruth shows imagination
A couple of toy soldiers and a bit of imagination helped an amateur snapper create this different take on festive fun.
Ruth Carnegie's picture – called The Great Bauble Robbery – is among the latest entries for our Christmas-themed photograph competition.

The 42-year-old medical receptionist said: "The soldiers are actually mine, whenever I see something that I think I might be able to use later in a creative way in a photograph, I put it away in my little bag of tricks.
"I just thought about how I could incorporate them in a Christmas-themed photograph, to do something a bit different. The bauble is off my tree, and that is the tree lights in the background."
