Blaby: The Townswomen's Guild held a faith supper at its December meeting.

Members were entertained by the U3A Countesthorpe Handbell Ringers and there was a sales table and raffle.

On November 26, 12 women from Blaby joined with 76 members from the five other Leicestershire guilds for the Leicestershire Federation Christmas Luncheon at Leicester College. They were entertained by Richard Westcott, a pantomime dame.

Enderby: The parish church will be hosting a Christmas concert by Enderby Senior Brass Band on Saturday, December 21, from 7.30pm.

Tickets are £6 and £5, and are available from the post office.

Long Whatton and Diseworth: Parish councillors agreed to make a grant of £100 to Diseworth Church towards repairing a storm-damaged fence.

Belton: The Christmas Pageant will be at the parish church on December 17 and 18, at 7pm.
