Haunted Horrors at the Hall! The Guildhall in Leicester city centre is hosting a day of spooky fun from 11am to 3pm. Includes face painting, crafts and quizzes. Also join Tom the Tale Teller for stories of ghosts and ghouls, witches and monsters. £2.50 for activities.

Halloween activities on Abbey Park. Families are invited to join in an afternoon of activities from 1pm until 3pm. Park officers will be dressed for the occasions and invite guests to take part in a potions and poems Halloween quiz, craft activities including making spiders, ghosts and skeletons to hang in windows and much more. Freaky Friday Fun, at Newarke Houses Museum. Join in Halloween-themed craft activities. Create your own scary badge or listen to scary stories. £2.50 for activities. 0116 225 4980.

Halloween Party at Kirby Muxloe Scout Hut. Spooky dances and Halloween fun. Feel free to dress spookily! It will cost £5 per child which includes a Halloween Activity Party Bag. From 2pm - 4pm.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 29

The Ghostly Engineer at Abbey Pumping Station. Are you brave enough to take a lamp-lit tour of the basement of the Victorian Pumping Station and hear the tragic tale of Robert Richardson, the ghostly engineer? WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 31
