This snow scene is among a collection of wintry images sent in by reader Hamzah Waraich.

He captured the frosty foliage as he walked through Spinney Hill Park on Tuesday.

Hamzah took the image on his iPhone, after the Leicester Mercury asked readers to send in their snaps.

The 20-year-old, a student at Regent College, in Leicester, lives in North Evington, and is a keen amateur photographer.

Dave Mutton, the Leicester Mercury's weatherman, has predicted yet more snow on the way for tomorrow.

He said: "Thursday will remain dry, but very cold. There's a high chance of snow on Friday, with temperatures set to remain below freezing during the day and plunging even lower in the evening."
