Hello, my deer – Shan's opportunist picture one to be proud of
Amateur photographer Shan Swann was delighted to capture this picture of a majestic deer at Bradgate Park.
The 54-year-old was heading up to Old John at 6.30am on Sunday to snap the sunrise, when she became aware that she was being watched.

Shan, of Stoughton, said: "I turned around and saw this beautiful stag staring at me, so I took a picture.
"It was a stunning morning and it looked amazing with the backdrop of Leicester and the towers in the background. I feel pretty pleased with myself for capturing it – it's definitely one to be proud of."
