Help Oxfam to give Yeman aid
The situation in Yemen is desperate and it's getting worse.
A humanitarian tragedy is unfolding with millions of lives now at risk. Already, 10,000,000 people – almost half of the population – do not have enough food to eat.
Children are particularly vulnerable, with the lives of an estimated 267,000 at risk due to malnutrition.
In total, Oxfam aim to reach 1,000,000 people with the life-saving aid they urgently need. But one thing is stopping Oxfam – a serious lack of funds.

Unless Oxfam raise more money fast, men, women and children will continue to suffer.
Oxfam supporters can change this. If enough people donate today, Oxfam can reach the people who need help now.
The poorest country in the Middle East, Yemen is wracked by conflict and surging food prices.
For a family here, soaring wheat flour prices can mean the difference between feeding the children and putting them to bed weak and hungry, night after night.
So many of the families Oxfam workers have met are truly desperate, selling their possessions and taking their children out of school to try and find work.
Some have already lost loved-ones due to the crisis. We cannot let this nightmare continue.
Together, we can provide a vital lifeline for the people of Yemen.
Oxfam has the people in place to get your donation to the most vulnerable people fast. For more, please contact the Oxfam shop in Market Street, Leicester.
