A litter-pick along the River Soar will take place on Saturday.

Volunteers are needed for the event, between 9.30am and 4.30pm. Money raised will go towards equipment for Leicester Outdoor Pursuits Centre in Belgrave.

People taking part will be asked to pay £3 for half a day and £6 for the whole day.

Drinks and a barbecue will be provided.
