High score for county's roads and bus services
Leicestershire's roads and transport network have scored highly on a nationwide satisfaction survey.
The 2012 National Highways and Transport survey asked road users what they thought of issues such as the condition of roads and pavements and the quality of bus services.
While satisfaction levels fell in many areas from last year, Leicestershire County Council, which manages the road network, was ranked the best county council for the third year running.
Out of 75 authorities, it was ranked 18th. Leicester City Council does nor appear in the survey.
