Mast refusal advice
COUNCILLORS are being advised to refuse plans for a phone mast in Ilkeston.
Telefonica O2 wants to install the pole off Barling Drive but Erewash Borough Council officers said it would "detrimentally harm the character" of the street.
It does not need planning consent but councillors can influence look and position.
