Coalville Town secured the East Midlands Division One title after a 4-2 win at home to Tamworth.

Corby's victory over Berkswell & Balsall Common meant Town had to wait until this match to secure the crown.

But Leicester University, who Coalville meet on Saturday, did Town a favour by beating the Northamptonshire side 5-2 in a rearranged fixture.

Goals from Adam Barnett (2), James Wright and Sam Crowie saw Coalville beat Tamworth.

They will return to the East Midlands Premier Division at the first attempt following relegation last season.
