Hockey: Leicester Ladies through to national indoor semi-finals
Holders Leicester booked their place in the semi-finals of the Maxifuel Super Sixes Championships with two games to spare.
The Pukkas won seven and drew one throughout the two weekends of competition, at Bromsgrove School, to finish top of the Premier Division.

Although missing a few of their star names, including defender Josie Inverdale, who is currently representing GB under-21s in Australia, Leicester's superior squad strength was evident in all four games.
After winning all four of their previous matches, Leicester started their second batch of fixtures on Saturday with a 5-1 win against Olton & West Warwicks.

Nicola White got them off to an explosive start, smashing home after just five minutes.
Aimee Hone equalised with a penalty stroke soon after but Leicester sparked into life and blew their opponents away with further goals from White, Kerry Williams, Sarah Cockayne and Hannah Smith.
They followed this up with a 2-2 draw against a battling Slough outfit to qualify for the last four. Williams and White were the scorers.
In Sunday's fixtures, Leicester convincingly beat Canterbury 5-2, Vanessa Hawkings firing in a hat-trick. Katie Long and Williams made up the five.
In their final game, they were 3-0 up after five minutes against Bowdon Hightown, White, Long and Smith doing the damage. Another goal for White, plus one for Hawkings, eased them to a comfortable 5-2 success
Leicester now face Reading in Saturday night's semi final at Kettering Arena, which is a repeat of last year's final where Leicester were victorious. The other last-four shoot-out features Sutton Coldfield and Bowden Highton.
The winners will meet in the final at Wembley Arena on Saturday, January 27.
