Home or away should not matter, says Leicester Tigers hooker Chuter
Leicester Tigers hooker George Chuter believes his side should not have to rely on being at Welford Road to boost the team's performance.
Chuter was among the replacements in Tigers' disappointing 23-9 Heineken Cup defeat at the hands of Toulouse last weekend, which saw them come away from their trip across the Channel without a win for the sixth successive time.
But now Tigers are back on home soil when they welcome Pro12 champions Ospreys to Welford Road in their second Pool Two fixture on Sunday.
"It is always a help playing at home and it does make you that bit more intense," said Chuter.

"But I think that mind-set is something we've got to get away from.
"Home and away doesn't matter to the successful teams, they just get on with it, try to win, and play what's in front of them.
"You have to play rugby regardless of the surroundings, and not have that mental barrier that says, 'Oh no, we're in another stadium'.
"It's that sort of mental toughness you need to breathe into a squad to make it like you're playing at home, even when you're away.
"We'll treat Ospreys the same way that we did Toulouse, and we know that we'll have to be better than we were against them to win it."
