A debate in the House of Lords has disputed the advice that Rutland County Council has received from Bevan Brittan in connection with the actions of the Rutland Anti-Corrupution Group.

At the Grand Committee Meeting of the House of Lords on Thursday, 17 January 2013, the Minister of State, Ministry of Justice (Lord McNally) said:
