A house has been cordoned off after police responded to a report of assault.
Police officers were called to the house in Beaconsfield Road, off Narborough Road, Leicester, at around 8.30am today.

A police spokeswoman said: "We were called to reports of an assault.
"One person - a man - was taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary with injuries to their hand and a 47-year-old man has been arrested in connection.
