The Queen will be visiting De Montfort University, Leicester Cathedral and will be going to the Clock Tower and High Street
At this stage, the specific times cannot be released as the palace doesn't publish any of this information in advance, so the most accurate information available is that the Queen will be at De Montfort University mid-morning, Leicester Cathedral by lunchtime and at the Clock Tower in the afternoon.
Access to DMU and the Cathedral are likely to be very restricted so Leicester City Council is advising that the best view will probably be near the Clock Tower and on High Street.
Live footage from each venue will be broadcast on the Big Screen at the bottom of Humberstone Gate.
There will be viewing areas for people with disabilities at the Clock Tower and Leicester Cathedral. Stewards will be on hand at both locations to advise where these areas are. Access will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Travel
People are being warned that on Thursday getting into Leicester and moving around may take longer because of the numbers of people expected in the city.
Most bus services will be running normally. However, due to temporary road closures, there will be no buses serving any stops in the Haymarket and Belgrave Gate area from approx. 5.40am on Thursday morning until around 3.30pm in the afternoon. This also means some bus stops will be relocated on a temporary basis.
If you're planning to come in that day, visit www.travelineeastmidlands.co.uk for full details of all our city bus services. Or use the park and ride services: find out how at leicester.gov.uk/parkandride

“The only place I'll see the queen in Leicester is on my tv if I am not fast enough to change channels.
I don't begrudge the flag wavers an enjoyable time spotting the monarch and waving their flags. But, I resent being told that this is a big deal for everybody in Leicester, and that everybody is excited, as I was on the tv news - its misleading and false. Lets just be honest about it. Some people love the monarch, some hate royalty with a passion, and some, I suspect most, are totally indifferent.”
