Children's shoe shop Jellyrolls, in High Street, Leicester, is closing on December 30 and moving to Jellyrolls clothes shop across the road.

Sandwich shop opened

A sandwich shop called Choices is now open in Belvoir Street, Leicester, near the junction with Granby Street.

Beauty purchases pay off

Head to Boots for your high-end beauty buys and you'll get a whopping addition to your Advantage card.

To qualify you need to buy three items from the same brand. In exchange you'll be rewarded with 750 points, worth £7.50. The offer is until December 24, and is valid on Benefit, Biotherm, Chanel, Clarins, Clinique , Dior, Elizabeth Arden, Estee Lauder, Lancome, Fashion Fair, Origins and YSL only. (Not all brands available at all Boots stores so call to check).

Salon and spa arriving

Beauty brand Aveda is opening a salon and spa in Highcross Leicester in the new year.

The salon and spa is Aveda's first stand-alone store in Leicester and will offer Aveda Signature Services as well as its hair and skincare products. It will be by Next, opposite John Lewis.
