Join scheme to get free brush
A company is celebrating its 150th anniversary by giving away nearly 2,000 brushes to residents who join a garden waste recycling scheme.
Brush maker Charles Bentley and Sons Ltd was formed in 1860 in Loughborough.
It is giving away 1,860 brushes, each worth £6.80, to mark the occasion.
The brooms will be given to the first 1,860 residents to join Charnwood Borough Council's garden waste scheme after March 15.
