Joy at new roads contract
A quarry firm is celebrating after its associate company won a multi-million pound contract from the Scottish government to maintain some of the country's major roads.
Breedon Aggregates, of Breedon-on-the-Hill, has a 37.5 per cent shareholding in Bear Scotland.
The company has been chosen by Transport Scotland to maintain trunk roads in the north-west of Scotland for the next five years at least.
