Justice done on Jermaine Beckford red card, says Leicester City boss Pearson
Nigel Pearson said it would have been a "travesty" of justice had Jermaine Beckford's red card at Brighton and Hove Albion last Saturday not been rescinded.
The Leicester City boss said it was "the right decision" by the Football Association to overturn the card handed out by referee Andy Woolmer during the second half of the 1-0 defeat at the Amex Stadium.

City lodged an appeal against the sending off which would have seen Beckford banned for three games, starting with tomorrow's visit of Cardiff City to the King Power Stadium.
And after reviewing video evidence the FA agreed Woolmer's decision was wrong.
The decision left City with an uphill task against the Seagulls as their four game unbeaten run in all competitions came to an end.
Pearson said he was not completely satisfied but said: "It is the right decision. Without elaborating too much, if it hadn't been rescinded it would have been a travesty.
"You can't turn the clock back. What is done is done, but at least he is not missing games.
"We are not totally happy with how it has been concluded but I have nothing more to say on that."
Neil Danns will serve a one-game suspension and miss the Cardiff game after he was also sent for two bookable offences. City finished the game with eight men following an injury to substitute Nathan Delfouneso
Pearson said Delfouneso was a doubt for the visit of Cardiff and that the on-loan striker was lucky to escape without a more serious ankle injury.
However, there was better news on left-back Paul Konchesky, who limped off but is expected to be fit.
Pearson said: "Paul has trained today and as long as he has no reaction he should be okay, and Delfouneso has an outside chance of being involved but we have to see how he responds to treatment."
"Having seen still photos of the tackle he is very fortunate not to have had a more serious outcome. But we are just pleased it is not as serious as we first thought."
Meanwhile, City defender Tom Parkes has joined Bristol Rovers on loan for one month.
The 20-year-old joins City team-mate Cian Bolger, who is also on loan with the Pirates, at the Memorial Ground.
Parkes, who spent the first half of the season on loan at Burton, could make his debut for Rovers at home to Morecambe tomorrow.

“Will this mean more goals or 3 more goal less games?”

“Good to see that Parkes and Bolger are being given match experience out on loan.
You never know when they will be needed”
