Knife-threat robber targeted teenager in Evington Park
A teenager was threatened at knifepoint and assaulted during an attempted robbery in Evington Park, Leicester.
The 16-year-old victim was walking through the park towards Evington village when he was approached by a youth who asked him for his phone. When the victim refused he was pushed to the ground and threatened with a knife.
He received minor injuries to his left arm and left cheek.
The suspect made off towards Cordery Road.

The assault happened between 10.55am and 11.15am on Monday, July 2.
Police are appealing for witnesses. The suspect is described as black, about 17 years old of thin build and was wearing a dark baseball cap with a red rim, black hooded top with the hood up, dark jogging bottoms, Nike trainers with a white tick and black gloves.
