Knighton Library has encouraged members to get involved with a city-wide competition.

Leicester's libraries are offering all avid readers the chance to win their top ten favourite paperbacks by describing in no more than 50 words 'I love reading because...'

The competition has been set up off the back of World Book day, which was last week.

John Paton, of Knighton library, said: "We want all members to get involved. We haven't really had many handed in to us yet, but it's a great city-wide scheme".

The competition closes on Friday March 26. Prizes are available for under 12's and adults.
