Oadby: The Rotary Club of Oadby will be checking shoppers' blood pressure at Sainsbury's store, Oadby, on Saturday, April 25, from 9am to 5pm, in a bid to help cut the number of strokes suffered in the UK.

The club is joining scores of Rotary clubs across the UK offering blood pressure checks as part of a Stroke and Health Awareness Day.

The annual awareness day is run in partnership with the Stroke Association to help people to better understand the relationship between high blood pressure (hypertension) and stroke.
